This project was developed with 2nd grade students, the Pelicans. In this blog we show the results of our research and debates on Global, Environmental and Animal Endangerment Awareness. This project allied the areas of Conservation, Sciences, Ecology and Technology.

  During class (at the computer lab, with iPads or in the classroom, with books and the computer), guided by the teacher, students gathered information on 5 different habitats – the Amazon, the Arctic circle, Namibia, the Isle of Borneo and the Coral Triangle –, their native fauna and flora and why are those elements endangered – and what we can do to help and prevent species from disappearing.

  Throughout the project, the conclusion were documented by the students and teacher in small paragraphs written by themselves and in drawings of the world around us.
